Miracle Morning

The 5 Second Rule | A snackable post like cup of Milk and Cereals

Waking up at 9am on Sunday morning, thinking,

'What should I choose ? Among all the possible things that I can do to make my given day better?'
This feels like so desirable and nice, imagine being able to plan things and map 'potentially' long day of yours.

But also, I feel like I still lack a basic practice of having healthy routine of life which has to be lived with, sometimes, less questions.
I did not actually read the book named, '5 Second Rule', However, I have read an online thread about what the Author Mel Robbins suggested to us.

Physically moving to reach out for your goal, (within 5 seconds counted) before letting our brain to kill the instinct or desire -is the hack!

The Five Elements of the The 5 Second Rule

The Five Second Rule is a tool that dramatically changed my life. Here, I break down the 5 important elements of this Rule and show you how to use it.

For example, just-waking-up by counting 5 seconds rather than closing eyes again, asking -'Do I want to wake up now and start my day?' will possibly make yourself achieve more things as planned.
Because our thoughts are likely to make other excuses to stop the considering action, if we do not act right away.

I think it is time for myself to practice this tactic every day, the just-do-it actions done rather than
- trying to be so nice by asking my little self just as asking a little baby if she wanted to go and read a book.

I always as myself like, 'Umm, do I want to go exercise today after work?'

or like, 'Hmmm, do I want to read the book I bought two weeks ago before going to sleep?'

Well, most likely my mind was picky, not so willing to do so. So it is time for me to stop asking myself for every decision.

No matter of how I feel like doing it or not, let me just do it and think later.

5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - GO.

Feet on the floor,
messy hair,
And ready to start a longer day without the time wasted to ask my inner kid if she feels like being lazy, as always .
